Mellori is related to Grandmother Raven?!

Some of you knew this all along but a theory has come across my mind! Now this is just a theory, so don't take it so seriously. Translate Raven to Latin and you get corvus.
Corvus Mellori is a species of raven!
  Corvus Mellori is the scientific name for Little Raven! That could mean Mellori is a creation of grandmother Raven, her "little raven!"
